Euramco Case Study

Euramco have been supplying equipment for the offshore and petro-chemical industry for 37 years and occupy premises totalling 8,600 sq ft in Royston, Essex. As suppliers of a complete range of power, instrumentation, ship wiring, communication and optical fibre cables as well as hazardous area equipment, the assurance of quality is fundamental; this principle was of particular importance to Euramco when they instructed Cashman Interior Services Ltd to undertake their project.

We were contracted to design, space plan, refurbish and fit out their new premises in Royston, a warehouse and a first floor open plan office area totalling 3,320 sq ft. This included concept and design work, (including 3D drawings and visuals) and the installation of a new boardroom, IT/server room, management offices and new kitchen area. This competitive tender was won based on the imagination and foresight of our concepts as well as our commitment to minimising costs.

The first floor office environment was designed as a spacious, open plan area but which also fulfilled their significant storage requirements. Our range of storage wall solutions, using different finishes for different areas, fitted perfectly into this environment and met all Euramco's requirements. Notably, and in order to reduce their costs, the storage wall units were built around redundant radiators and pipework.

Additionally, we supplied and installed suspended ceilings, ensured the existing fire alarm systems were fire-safety compliant, carried out comprehensive electrical works as well as the supply and installation of a range of premium furniture, partitioning systems and storage solutions.

The superior glass partitioning we installed was enhanced with bespoke graphics and branding, compliant with DDA legislation and was chosen after a variety of visual graphics demonstrated the impressive effect that could be achieved.

We were also able to provide a range of first class furniture throughout including a benching system in order to maximise the available space. Euramco wanted to implement a clear desking policy and the white system selected meant a clean, tidy and uncluttered appearance throughout the open plan area.  In contrast, distinctive walnut desks were chosen to complement the corporate ambiance of the directors' suite.

This project was completed within the specified timeframe, finished to an extremely high standard and importantly, completed within budget.
