In addition to project managing the work, our teams understand and advise on all aspects of planning and building regulations as well as health and safety issues to ensure conformity and promote best practice. We work with many recognised suppliers throughout the UK and Europe and are not tied to any particular manufacturer. This enables us to promote the most suitable products and encourages competitive spirit and excellent service from all our suppliers. Regular communication with our suppliers during the installation phase ensures that the project plan is achieved.
Construction Design and Management
The Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) focus attention on the planning and management of construction projects and are intended to reduce risks to those who build, use and maintain buildings. They replaced all previous construction legislation and they impose duties on virtually everyone involved in any construction work. This requires a certain amount of planning and organization. Even small projects will now require CDM regulation. We can advise whether your project will need to be included.
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations can reduce risk and help you to:
- Assess the health and safety risks for any project
- Ensure stakeholders in any project commit to the health and safety requirements
- Provide a safe working environment while the project is being undertaken
- Provide detailed manuals to reduce risk when carrying out maintenance
Upon completion of the project, final quality assurance and on-site snagging inspections are made prior to handover to our clients. We maintain high levels of client service during and after each project which establishes and reinforces our long term relationships.
