Stansted Airport FBO Case Study
Cashman Interior Services have recently completed a £1million project at London's Stansted Airport. This involved a complete fit out of 2,400sq metres of a private FBO (Fixed Base Operation). The challenge facing our project management team was the cohesive, coordinated managment of so many different aspects of this project. We ensured that we achieved the rigorous standards set by our client and delivered the new premises on time and within budget.
This large-scale project involved the complete strip out, re-fit and refurbishment of:
- Main reception area
- VIP lounge areas
- Pilot's lounge area
- Shower rooms
- Sauna (bespoke joinery)
- Executive offices
- Meeting rooms
- Board room
- Bespoke wine store
- Canteen/dining area
- Border control office
This challenging £1million project, which was delivered with maximum efficiency and minimum disruption, on time and on budget, demonstrated our expertise in project management and our ability to manage multiple aspects of the project at the same time. We were required to advise on all aspects of planning and building regulations as well as health and safety issues, obtain all the necessary approvals and ensured the client stakeholders were updated at every stage of the project.
Cashman Interior Services were responsible for providing and installing:
- Heating, ventilation & air conditioning systems
- Bespoke joinery
- Power, data & AV systems
- Decorative works
- Installation of furniture and finishing touches at each location
